Previously Gayle worked as an assistant editor and post-production coordinator for a film production company in central London (we suspect they also tried to grab her gorgeous self for screen work, but we are lucky she resisted). Her career in coffee began in 2001 when she joined Mercanta, where she assisted with all aspects of the business – including sample roasting, shipments, sales and cupping.
Since joining the London School of Coffee, Gayle has led field trips to both Nicaragua and Guatemala to visit producers and learn more about the coffee chain. She has also represented the London School of Coffee at numerous coffee events and exhibitions in Europe and Japan.
