Fazenda Passeio is located in a privileged zone for the production of fine coffees, in Sul de Minas. Our coffee plantations spread between 1,100 and 1,200 meters of altitude, in a mountain area with very high soil fertility. All the operations at this farm are based on the intensive use of labor, employing qualified and skillful workers, from the soil preparation for planting to the hand picking of the coffee cherries.

We have specialized in coffee production for 3 generations, during which all the steps of production were constantly improved, always seeking a higher efficiency. Respect for our environment is also a major concern, as for the relationship with our collaborators, who live in the farm and get all needed support, including schooling for their children, professional training, and environmental education.

Fazenda Passeio stands out in the world of specialty coffees, delivering its production directly to many parts of the world, specializing in the Pergamino Sul de Minas type, produced together with other growers in the micro region of Serra do Pau D'Alho and exported by Alfenas Café. Besides this top quality Pulped Natural coffee, this farm also produces excellent quality natural coffees, in order to supply the market for espresso coffees.

The coffee harvest begins only when the beans are in an advanced stage of ripeness, in order to avoid the picking of green beans. All the coffee is hand picked and is pulped immediately afterwards to avoid any kind of fermentation. After a few days in our patios, the drying is finished in mechanical driers. The coffee is then kept in wooden resting bins for a minimum of 60 days before the final dry milling. Because of the privileged micro-climate at this average altitude of 1,100 meters and regular rains, and also due to our responsible and limited use of agrochemicals, we can produce excellent coffees, with the most favored characteristics that specialty coffees consumers seek.

Surrounded by native forests and many water springs, Fazenda Passeio abides by all Brazilian environmental protection norms. The forests are natural reserves with permanent protection. We also regularly plant new trees surrounding the water sources to protect our farm's ecosystem, as our native forests shelter a rich and varied fauna, being constantly visited by tourists, school children and ecologists.
