The Company

Mercanta operates from offices in Kingston upon Thames (London, UK), Lynnwood (Wash., USA) and Guatemala City (Central America). We also spend many weeks of the year visiting farms and meeting with growers, mills and exporters.

We employ some of the world’s best coffee cuppers to seek out the very finest coffees from throughout the Specialty Coffee producing world. Much of our time is spent cupping and evaluating a huge variety of samples.

We work closely with Specialty Coffee roasters, large and small, who seek the finest quality green coffees, shipped at the start of their crop and delivered to order worldwide.

Our alliance with the London School of Coffee allows us to train and educate more people to appreciate the spectacular variety of tastes and flavours to be found in the finest coffees.
