The Company

Mercanta exists to supply specialty roasters with the world’s finest green coffees. Founded back in 1996 in a small office in south-west London, Mercanta now sources a huge variety of outstanding coffees from more than 15 producing countries. With the help of our experienced team of coffee hunters, we offer extensive and diverse inventories of specialty coffees, impartial and professional advice, and efficient deliveries to more than 30 countries worldwide.

Our team operates out of offices in Kingston upon Thames (London, UK), Seattle (Wash., USA) and Guatemala City (Central America). Our alliance with the London School of Coffee also allows us to educate more people - roasters, baristas, consumers and sometimes even growers themselves - to appreciate the spectacular variety of tastes and flavours to be found in fine coffees.
